“This blog is about how I am finding my self-confidence and overcoming the fear of being true to myself. I hope that by sharing my journey, it will inspire others to find their way to living an authentic life..”
-Michaela
This blog has taken on a life of its own. What started as a simple place to post fashion inspired photos has also become a place of self-reflection and mental health awareness. I discovered fashion as a tool in building self-confidence. I have learned that clothing choices have a strong impact on our psyche. Our emotional connection to what we wear will be reflected in how we see our place in life. I work everyday helping women learn to use fashion to feel more confident by finding styling options for every shape and size. While fashion has helped me to see a better version of myself, I believe it is also a gateway to being able to recognize your own self-worth and finding beauty in your struggle.
A Providence Girl has evolved into a mix of self-reflections, mental health advocacy, and as always….fashion. As I am finding my own kind of beautiful…I hope to inspire you to find yours.
